It’s an Abu Garcia® Revo® low profile baitcaster with just a bit of customization by 2007 BASS Angler of the Year Skeet Reese. Just look for the yellow and black frame,Reese’s trademark colors. The one-piece frame is built with X-Cräftic™ corrosion-resistant aluminum alloy, super light and super strong. The Revo Skeet Reese uses oversized 6.4:1-gear ratio Duragear™ gears made of heavy duty and corrosion-resistant alloy.
For Reese, a color change was not enough and this namesake reel features eleven HPCR® (High Performance Corrosion Resistant) bearings for added smoothness during casts and retrieves. The reel’s Carbon Matrix™ Drag System incorporates the most consistent drag pull of any reel in its class. With Carbon Matrix Drag, Reese feels a solid and smooth line drag, not the erratic pull of line felt on most other drag systems.

Popular Low Profile High Speed Reels Now Available in Left Hand Models
When Abu Garcia® introduced the Revo® low profile baitcast reels anglers from coast to coast were greatly impressed and the Revo demand began. Now anglers can get the high speed 7.1:1 Revo SX and high speed 7.1:1 Revo STX in left handed versions.
The low profile frame and side plate of the SX and STX is made of X-Cräftic™ aluminum alloy. This material is more durable and lighter than regular aluminum and corrosion resistant. Eleven High Performance Corrosion Resistant (HPCR®) bearings provide the smooth casting with added distance. All SX reels weigh just 8.7 ounces, the STX models weigh 8.75 ounces. Both the SX and STX reels hold 140 yards of 12-pound test monofilament fishing line.
“I’m right handed but at least 10 per cent of the anglers are left handed and many of us flip left handed,” said Bobby Lane, Abu Garcia Pro Team member. “These new left handed versions of the high speed SX and STX reels will sure help these anglers with their pitching and flipping presentations as well as burning baits over grass.”
