I am very pleased that Bass Pro Shops, Tracker and Mercury Marine have renewed their respective contracts with Heartland Trails, Inc! This vote of confidence has been reinforced by Heartland bass anglers that are buying Nitro bass boats. The number of Nitro’s has steadily increased and coupled with an industry leading sales program I am extremely happy to be involved with such great sponsors.

My schedule this year was centered on giving our anglers the best lakes at the best time, while trying to keep angler costs down as much as possible. Lake of the Ozarks and Table Rock are always favorites, however; the Stockton Lake “rebirth” of great bass populations has given anglers another fantastic lake to fish. Along with Truman, the 2010 season will be exciting and the race to the championships probably will be decided at the last event.

I am also very excited about the return of the Elite Tour, the 3 events in April, May and June lead up to the ultimate climax of winning the Mercury powered Nitro Z-7 on Table Rock at the last event. The top finishing angler that has fished all three events will receive this $21,000+ package! What a deal, again Heartland Trails leads the way in innovative ways to reward loyal members.

Our 2010 championships will be two day events and with Bass Pro Shops, Tracker Marine and Mercury Marine sponsorship, I will be able to award even larger paybacks and prizes in the year end championships.
