Local legends Marcus Sykora and Bill Davenport are always a threat on Lake of the Ozarks, especially in the early spring. Their 17.65 pound bag was good enough to lock down first place. They found an all day bite in the dam area focusing on secondary points. They threw custom painted Megabass jerkbaits and said that most of the fish came from the 6-10 foot range. Brush piles located on the points was also key. Sykora and Davenport won $3,300.00 for their efforts. Nice job gentleman! Third place went to Dave Wolf and Donnie Snelling who also fished the lower end with Megabass jerkbaits and found fish here and there throughout the day. They focused on channel swings in the long coves and creeks. They found most of their fish in the 7-8 foot range. Dave and Donnie brought home $1,200 for their success.
